Soho House Bangkok marks the brand’s first entry into Southeast Asia. Located in the lively Sukhumvit 31 district, this three-storey property blends members’ club, coworking spaces, bars, dining, and a rooftop pool — all needing seamless IT integration.

MicroNet was appointed to deliver end-to-end IT infrastructure deployment and technical services, supporting Soho House’s regional and global technology standards. We collaborated with Soho House’s UK and local project teams to ensure that all systems — from wireless coverage and security to user onboarding and third-party integration — were ready in time
for launch.

Scope of Works

1. Core Network Design & Configuration

  • Deployment of a structured LAN with VLANs for operational and guest services
  • Configuration of Aruba core and edge switches to Soho House global templates
  • Implementation of IP schema and bandwidth planning in coordination with third-party systems

2. Wi-Fi Network Management

  • Predictive and physical heatmapping to ensure complete wireless coverage across public areas, guest zones, and outdoor spaces
  • Wireless network configured and managed via Aruba Central cloud controller
  • Onsite collaboration with local contractors for AP installation and final signal verification

3. Endpoint & User Systems Deployment

  • Configuration and preparation of a range of user devices including Lenovo desktops, HP laptops, MacBooks, and iPads
  • User account setup with email, shared drives, print services, and security policies
  • Microsoft 365 provisioning including hosted SharePoint file structures and AD group policies

4. Security & SD-WAN Setup

  • Remote configuration of Firewalls and SD-WAN solution appliances in collaboration with Soho House and third-party teams
  • Rule definition and subscription-based security services across edge devices

5. Third-Party Systems Integration

  • Liaison with contractors installing EPOS, door access, lighting control, BMS, and CCTV systems
  • Creation of patching schedules and collaboration on structured cabling, PDU setup, and rack layouts
  • Testing of all network-connected services prior to go-live

6. Go-Live Support & Documentation

  • Remote and onsite standby support during pre-opening and launch
  • Handover documentation including network diagrams, asset lists, and third-party integrations
