Harry’s Bar – King’s Cross is the latest venue under the prestigious Harry’s brand, inspired by the La Dolce Vita era of Italian glamour. Located on the vibrant King’s Boulevard, the site connects the King’s Cross transport hub with Granary Square. MicroNet was engaged to deliver full-scope IT Consultancy, Systems Supply, Deployment Services, and Project Management for this high-visibility hospitality project.
Our objective was to create a fully integrated and resilient IT infrastructure capable of supporting the operational demands of a premium hospitality venue — from seamless guest experiences to robust back-of-house systems.
Scope of Works
1. IT Infrastructure Design & Consultancy
- Development of a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with client requirements
- Infrastructure planning for wired and wireless networks, data security, and business continuity
- Coordination with key stakeholders and third-party technology providers
2. Network Design & Resilience Planning
- LAN architecture with VLAN segmentation and redundancy planning
- SD-WAN deployment with failover capability (fibre and 4G backup)
- Wi-Fi heatmapping surveys (predictive and physical) to ensure full indoor and outdoor coverage
- Wireless network managed via Ruckus Cloud Controller for centralised oversight
3. Systems Deployment
- Provision and configuration of back-office and front-of-house hardware (desktops, laptops, tablets)
- Implementation of secure M365 environments including email, OneDrive, SharePoint, MFA
- Set up of mobile device management (MDM) and user-level configurations
- Application of Active Directory policies and user role structuring
4. Third-Party Systems Integration
- Liaison and patching coordination with EPOS, PDQ, CCTV, access control, VoIP, and IoT vendors
- Network capacity planning for hospitality-specific systems and guest-facing platforms
- Technical readiness support for all soft and public opening milestones
5. Go-Live & Handover Support
- On-site standby support during pre-opening and live operations
- Full documentation package: network diagrams, system schematics, asset lists
